Meet Scott

Scott Menard is the President of Homes Built For America (HBFA), a top Bay Area homebuilder, and CEO of Brighton-Coulson, Inc., its general contracting arm. With over 35 years in the homebuilding industry, Scott has led the creation of nearly 400 homes at HBFA and overseen the development of more than 100 communities and 3,000 homes throughout his career. A third-generation builder, he is known for his expertise in high-demand markets and his focus on delivering quality, move-in-ready homes for first-time buyers.

Scott also serves as Executive Vice President of The True Life Companies, where he has helped expand operations to five states across the country and grow the team significantly since 2013. His leadership has earned industry recognition and media features for his innovative, market-driven approach. A native of San Jose, he continues to shape communities that support connection, growth, and long-term value for families.
